Admissions for aspiring students – 297 of whom qualified for the entrance exam held in May – will continue till September 6
The Ministry of Universities and Research has officially approved the opening of the new degree program “Medicine and Surgery” in English by the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Bolzano. This accreditation certifies the existence of the educational, research qualifications, structural, organizational and economic-financial sustainability requirements for the launch of new study programs as envisaged by the reference legislation. In July 2024, the National Institutional Commission for the Evaluation of the University and Research System conducted a series of remote and face-to-face interviews in Bolzano, verifying the requirements for the activation of the new degree program. This procedure has now been concluded and the MIUR accreditation decree has been obtained, which marks the official launch of the first degree program in Medicine and Surgery in Bolzano.
