Bolivian Ministry of Foreign Affairs promotes high-altitude wines and singani to Peruvian producers and distributors

The Prime Minister’s Office of Bolivia, in order to promote the production of Singani and Bolivian wine, To promote tastings of quality wines and Singanis in Peru to producers, importers, Distributors, restaurants and shops of such beverages.

“In order to promote the production and marketing of grapes, singani, Bolivian high altitude wines and Bolivian wines in foreign markets, the Bolivian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Bolivian Embassy in Lima, Peru, organized a ‘High Altitude Wine and singani tasting’ that brought together producers, importers, distributors, restaurants and Bolivian wine shops.” said the report from Bolivia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Bolivia participates in this activity within the framework of Law No. 774 “Promoting grapes, singani, Bolivian high altitude wines and Bolivian wines”, Its aim is to showcase the wealth, potential and promotion of wine production, as well as its marketing in neighboring countries.

It is worth noting that Singani is an alcoholic beverage with a protected designation of origin from Bolivia, distilled from the wine of the Muscat de Alexandria grape. This drink was declared a Bolivian cultural heritage through Law 774.
