Caracas, August 4, 2024. – The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, through his account on the social network Twitter, congratulated the men and women of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) on the occasion of the 87th anniversary of the creation of the military component, which this Tuesday, as reported by Prensa VTV.
“I congratulate the hon. @GNBoficialVE On this 87th anniversary, they have taken on the task of ensuring security and tranquility in Venezuela with the utmost discipline and commitment. The people thank you for your sacrifices and dedication to the peace of the country”, the head of state said in @NicholasMaduro.
The Bolivarian National Guard carries out actions necessary to maintain internal order in the country, cooperates in military operations necessary to ensure national defense, carries out administrative police and criminal investigation activities as provided for by law, and actively participates in national development in the territory and other geographical spaces of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
