The Boise State running back broke out with 20 carries for 267 yards and six touchdowns in the Broncos’ 56-45 win over Georgia Southern on Saturday, breaking the Boise State single-game rushing record.

Fans were quick to heap praise on Jeanty on social media, predicting that he has the potential to be the top running back in the 2025 NFL draft.

Genti’s third season with the Broncos started with a bang, but that doesn’t mean it was an accident. In the 2023 season, he rushed for 1,347 yards and 14 touchdowns while also catching for 569 yards and five scores and is the current Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year.

The 20-year-old chose to stay at Boise State University despite Important Transfer interest. He hopes to lead Boise State to the College Football Playoff, and Saturday’s performance showed he’s on the right track.

Gennty and the Broncos will hope to continue that form against a strong team next week. Boise State will travel to No. 3 Oregon on Saturday for a game that will tip off at 10 p.m. ET.
