Bobi Wine graduated from Cavendish University with a Bachelor of Laws.

Bobby Wine shared his story on social media, detailing his experience starting studying law in August 2016 at the International University of East Africa (IUEA).

Despite initial delays, he persevered and transferred to Cavendish University, completing his studies seven years later.

He is deeply grateful to several key supporters. His longtime friend Sylver Kyagulanyi has encouraged him to pursue a career in law for more than two decades.

Classmate Don Sheriff helped Wine and shared his passion for justice. David Lewis Rubongoya, who taught Wine his first constitutional law class and suggested Wine transfer to Cavendish University, was crucial to his success.

Bobi Wine had a lot of difficulties during his studies. Last year, he missed a course and was unable to graduate, so he had to take an extra semester.

Furthermore, when the news of his graduation broke, critics attempted to halt his progress by petitioning the National Commission on Higher Education (NCHE). Despite these efforts, he was ultimately allowed to graduate after a thorough investigation.

Bobby Wine thanked his wife Barbie Kayagulanyi for her unending support and encouragement that kept him motivated. He also thanked his teachers and classmates for the challenges they presented that served as valuable lessons.

He dedicated his achievement to the people of the slums, encouraging them to pursue their dreams regardless of the consequences. He also paid tribute to his late mother and expressed his belief that she would be proud of his achievement.

Finally, he thanked God for guiding him through every difficulty.
