Within a few years, reconstruction costs ballooned, first to $20 million and then to $50 million in 2021, due in part to rising construction costs, coronavirus delays and stop-work orders due to a lack of fire sprinklers.
By the end of 2021, the building will be ready for occupancy and renamed Skye, as each penthouse is priced at more than $20 million through Sotheby’s Francis Egan auction house.
Vicars had a hard time buying this home. The guide was reduced to $16 million before it sold, and since Egan would not comment on the sale price, it should have sold for closer to $14 million given the latest asking price of the adjoining penthouse.

In total, Vikas’ latest purchases take his eastern suburbs portfolio to more than $150 million, putting him alongside the following other super investors: microphone and Anne Cannon-Brookes and technical personnel Robin Kuda.
Vikas’s big bet on real estate comes as his long-term investment in Oroton begins to pay off. He went all in on the luxury brand in 2017 to rescue it from administration. Jenny Child Appointed chief executive in 2021, the state’s economy has posted 7 per cent growth so far this year despite wider cost of living pressures.

Blackwell, the former captain of the Australian women’s cricket team, is not only widely regarded as one of the best female cricket players in the world, but is also an outspoken advocate for equality in the sport.
Rhonda Yim of BresicWhitney has scheduled the auction for Aug. 3, with the asking price being $875,000.

The couple’s Paddington home, a one-bedroom in an art deco block off Five Roads, has sold for $1.35 million, a sizeable gain on the $990,000 they paid in 2019.
