Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy intends that the best lecturers at Ukraine’s upcoming Presidential University will be able to receive a salary of at least $4,000 or €4,000.

Minister of Education and Science Serhiy Shkarlet made the announcement at a conference interview Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty Ukrainian Service.

“We had to develop the concept first. Because only one salary figure was published. But when we approached the president, he said at least the best people should get a salary of $4,000, at least that’s the starting salary. But they will be the best and most capable people,” explained the minister.
