Kampala is abuzz with celebrations as Beenie Gunter’s Guntalk Festival is approaching and it will be all lights up. Presented by Talent Africa Group, this biggest reggae dancehall show will take place on the rooftop of Garden City on September 21 with a bang and a strong line-up of artists that will make for an unparalleled experience. Guntalk’s name is derived from Gunter talk, which literally means “spread love” and is the essence of empowerment and positivity.
Ticket prices are $20,000 for a regular ticket, $50,000 for a Royal Ticket, and $2 million for a Flex Ticket to play on an 8-player table with your group.
Baguma Crescent, popularly known as Beenie Gunter, is a Ugandan Reggae Dancehall Artist best known for his hit song “Pon Mi” where he collaborated with famous Nigerian artist Skales and “Olina Work” which was a very successful single that was very popular and incredibly successful in Uganda.
In 2013, Gunter recorded his debut single “No Offense” and then he worked with Ugandan video director Sasha Vybz under his Savvy Music label until he joined another record label called Stain in 2015. Later that year, Bini Gunter left Stain to start his new record label Guntalk City Movement. He has worked with artists such as Eddy Kenzo and Sheebah Karungi, Lydia Jazmine APass, The Mith, Big Trill Jamaican dancehall artist Nyanda, Kranium, The Kemist and Gyptian.
