A 19-year-old man caught on video assaulting his elderly grandmother has been arrested and is expected to appear in the Blue Mountains Magistrate’s Court in Cape Town on Friday.
The video, which went viral on social media and was widely condemned, showed the woman being beaten following an altercation at her home in Walasedeni, Kraaifontein.
