With their fate hanging in the balance, some housemates of Big Brother Nigeria Season 9 are set to lose N100 million as eviction looms.
Fans of the reality show are anxiously awaiting the fate of the housemates and waiting for the duo to let their guard down. Wanni X Handi, Aces, DoubleKay and Radicals will be evicted on Sunday, September 1, 2024, but which duo will have a painful farewell to the show?
Of the nominated couples, Radicals appear to be the most vulnerable. Despite their efforts, Micky and David Felme have struggled to gain support from the audience. While Felme’s likable personality has helped them avoid eviction twice, Micky’s ongoing feud with twins Vannie x Handy hasn’t done them any favors.
They’ve made the bottom four twice but narrowly missed elimination each time. They’ve received six nominations, but their luck may have finally run out this weekend.
Wanni X Handi and DoubleKay seem to be in a safer position. Both duos received the highest number of votes last week, indicating that they have a solid fan base.
The twin sisters, Vani x Handy, have not lost any of their popularity despite their recent feud with Ruth, and still manage to charm the audience, with their charm and energy keeping them from the brink of eviction.
DoubleKay, which consists of married couple Kellyrae and Kassia, also struck a chord with the audience. Their decision to enter the house as friends, hiding their marriage from the other housemates, piqued the audience’s interest. This unique strategy earned them enough votes to keep them in the game as the audience was eager to know whether their plan would succeed or backfire.
Meanwhile, the Aces (Sooj and Topher) have shown great cohesion throughout the competition. While they may not have been the audience’s first choice, their genuine friendship and spirit of cooperation have helped them to receive a steady stream of votes, keeping them from elimination so far.
Regardless of which couples leave the house this Sunday, it’s clear that they each had a memorable experience and built friendships that will likely continue after the show ends.
