BBC Asian Network leads in latest RAJAR data for Q2 2024
BBC Asia Network has achieved an impressive milestone in the latest RAJAR data for the second quarter of 2024, adding 102,000 new listeners between 1 April and 23 June 2024. The station’s weekly reach soared from 542,000 to 644,000, with average listening time increasing from 4.2 hours to 4.6 hours.
Station director Ahmed Hussain attributes the success to the team’s dedication and their commitment to promoting Asian music and culture in the UK. “It’s great to see Asia Network’s audience numbers grow to 644,000 per week, with a further 2.37 million people following our content via social media and YouTube,” Hussain told BizAsiaLive.com.
