BBB president supports call for a wolf-free Netherlands

Caroline van der Plas, leader of the ruralist party BBB, supports BBB MP Henk Vermeer’s comments about “a wolf-free zone the size of the Netherlands” Social Media.

Meanwhile, a hunter in Friesland took the Ministry of Justice to court to request a permit to shoot a wolf “in self-defence”, but he was told that attacks on sheep were not a sufficient reason for a hunting permit and that wolves were a protected species in any case.
