Around 200 guests attended the event, which was held on the territory of the Gonio-Apsaros Castle-Museum. Clearance is 220mm. Front suspension angle is 30 or 31 degrees (depending on the kit), rear suspension angle is 22 degrees.
There are many innovations in the interior – the driver can use a digital instrument panel, a central touch screen and a separate service area for various basic functions. 3-zone climate control and a JBL audio system with 14 speakers are available as additional options.
The new car is equipped with two or three rows of seats (5-7 passengers), equipped with a central locking system and a rear differential lock. Crawl control has been further improved, the so-called climbing mode.
Currently, the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is equipped with a 2.8-liter turbocharged diesel engine. The 4-cylinder (2,755 cm3) turbodiesel engine has a power of 204 hp. It is equipped with a 2.7-liter gasoline engine with a maximum power of 163 hp and a 2.4-liter turbo gasoline engine with a maximum power of 277 hp.
The 8-speed automatic transmission is completely new. The maximum torque is 500 Nm (achieved between 1600 and 2800 rpm), and thanks to this combination, the new Prado has a load capacity of 3500 kg.
The safety system has become more diverse. With cameras placed around the car, you can monitor everything happening around you or under the car from the screen, even on the most difficult off-road roads. Safety is ensured by updated features of the Toyota Safety Sense system, Toyota T-Mate package, traffic sign recognition and collision protection system.
The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado has been in production for more than 70 years, during which time more than 10 million units have been sold worldwide.
