News from Angola – Angolan international Bastos Quisanga has returned to the national team squad, aiming to do double duty in the first and second rounds of the CAN’2025 “Group E” qualifiers in Morocco.

The Botafogo (Brazil) centre-back was the big news among the rest of the squad, announced by Portuguese coach Pedro Gonçalves during a press conference held this Tuesday at the headquarters of the Angolan Football Federation (FAF) in Luanda.

Angola will face Ghana at the Kumasi Sports Stadium on September 5. Four days later, they will face Sudan at the 11 de Nobembro National Stadium (9) at 8pm.
