Catalan newspaper Sport revealed the specific details of the offer submitted by Barcelona, which includes Olmo, and reported that “Barca” proposed to pay 40 million euros, but in payment form, 10 million euros per year from 2025 onwards.
If Barcelona wins the Champions League twice before 2029, Barcelona will also pay an additional bonus on top of another 10 million euros.
It is worth noting that Olmo, 26, who recently won the European Cup with Spain, was one of Barcelona’s youth players for seven years before leaving his homeland to join Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb in the summer of 2014 to defend his team. He played for six seasons before joining his current club Leipzig in 2020.
