Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has resigned and left the country amid massive protests, Reuters reported, citing military sources.
The politician left the country for India on a military aircraft, Prothom Alo Daily reported.
Demonstrations have been taking place in Bangladesh since July, with protesters demanding the abolition of the country’s job quota system.
