Security sources reported late Saturday that a riot broke out at a home for homeless women in northern Baghdad.
The source told Al-Sumaria News, “A group of homeless girls started a riot in a women’s residence in the Al-Sulaikh area, breaking the glass. They numbered five girls of different births because they demanded to return to the juvenile prison.”
The source added that “we intervened to secure the house, isolate the girls, and bring the situation under control,” noting that “the damage included broken glass and a TV screen, but no major injuries.”
