Ba wins three titles at Viti Futsal Cup

Ba’s futsal team had a strong showing at the Extra Supermarket Fiji Football Viti Futsal Cup, winning three of the four final categories.

In the finals held this afternoon, the Under-12 Girls, Under-14 Boys and Under-16 Boys teams all won championships.

The Ba Under 12 Girls team coached by Aliza Hussein easily defeated the Suva Under 12 Girls team 3-0.

The win was especially sweet considering they had previously lost 3-2 to the same team in their opening group match but bounced back to retain their title.

In the men’s competition, the Under-14 boys team, coached by William Simmons, narrowly beat Suva 1-0, while the Under-16 boys defeated Labasa 4-1.

However, the University of Bahamas did not fare well as their Under-16 girls team lost in the final, losing 2-4 to the strong Australian Under-16 girls team.
