Azerbaijan “attacks” Toyvo Kral and makes another request to Armenia

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said it was unacceptable that Toivo Klar, former EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and EU Ambassador to Uzbekistan, considered the repatriation of Armenians forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh as a special case.

The Armenian Foreign Ministry took the opportunity to make another demand, saying that Armenia is “obliged to create appropriate conditions for the settlement of Azerbaijanis in Armenia.”

For some reason, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry is convinced that the Armenians have no intention of returning to Nagorno-Karabakh.

“Such biased remarks that fall outside his purview, made by Klar on the eve of his resignation, deal another blow to the reputation of the European Union, whose officials primarily represent the organization,” Baku said.
