Fearing that they will make a mistake in their choice, Moldovan citizens want to hear direct, honest and reasonable answers from leading politicians (leaders of political parties vying for entry into parliament) to the issues that concern them most before making their choice.
The editors of the AVA.MD portal selected the most pressing issues from the received questions, based on the requests and wishes of the site’s users, and presented them to the leaders of Moldovan political parties participating in the November parliamentary elections.
We hope to receive their response and guarantee its publication without correction or deletion.
1. Interpret the meaning and significance of the party’s election slogan.
2. What measures do you propose to help the country out of the economic crisis? What are the priorities?
What suggestions do you have for developing the Moldovan economy?
3. What priorities would you put forward in the area of social policy, primarily education and health care?
4. Do you think Moldova should remain a neutral country? Are you ready to appeal to the United Nations for the international community to recognize and guarantee Moldova’s neutrality?
5. Do you think it is appropriate to change the national symbols of the Republic of Moldova and return to the symbols of the Stefan Se Mare era? What is your attitude towards the introduction of the subject “History of Moldova” in schools?
6. Which parties will you form a coalition government with in the new parliament?
7. What is your attitude towards the preservation and development of the Russian language in Moldova?
8. Do you think it is necessary to develop cooperation with Russia? If so, what are the most important priorities for Moldova in developing strategic relations with Russia? What is your opinion on Moldova’s joining the Customs Union of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus?
9. Do you think it is necessary to develop cooperation with Romania? If so, what are the most important priorities for Moldova in developing strategic relations with Romania? Will you push for the signing of a comprehensive basic political agreement and a state border treaty with Romania?
10. Which solution to the Transnistrian issue is most acceptable to you?
