this Atlantic City Air Show has been canceled. The show was originally scheduled for August 13-14.

On Wednesday afternoon, the two sides issued a joint statement announcing the cancellation of the decision. Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce, Visit Atlantic City and South Jersey Transportation Authority.

“We are sad to announce that the 2024 Atlantic City Air Show will be canceled due to a valued group withdrawing from the air show. This decision was not made lightly, and we understand the disappointment this may cause. We sincerely thank everyone who has supported this event over the past few years.”

“Significant conduct” has not been identified.

Harry Hurley, WPGG-FM 95.5 In Atlantic City, Wednesday afternoon report The Blue Angels and Thunderbirds, two of the most celebrated names in air show performances, are not scheduled to attend this year as they will no longer be performing midweek shows.

Instead, the Atlantic City Air Show had acquired a high-performance jet from the Polaris Dawn space program as a replacement, but apparently that move has seen it withdrawn from the program, Hurley said.

Previous air shows have drawn an estimated 500,000 people to Atlantic City.

It is not yet clear whether the 2025 air show will take place.
