He noted that mines pose a huge threat to both water and land.
“We must eliminate threats to humanity, including landmines. As the host country of COP29, we must declare the dangers posed by landmines. We must focus on this issue at COP29 in Azerbaijan. Of course, if it is not possible to do it in two days, I think we have done this, we have learned something from each other, we have understood the magnitude of the problem and I hope we will be able to clarify the issue of our planet being full of landmines before the next meeting,” he said.
