Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a press conference today that Armenia is ready to ensure transportation between Azerbaijan mainland and Nakhchivan, but Armenia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity cannot be challenged in any way.
“So far, regional communications have not been opened, one of the reasons being the statements of some Russian colleagues that are irrelevant to or contradict the logic of the November 9 statement. These statements often contradict the decree of the Russian President of November 10, 2020,” the Prime Minister said.
He stressed that Armenia is very interested in the opening of regional communications under the “Crossroads of Peace” project, “and we are ready to start implementing it tomorrow.”
Prime Minister Pashinyan said he has been receiving letters of support from leaders of different countries as well as some Russian colleagues.
