Currently, a document written by Kalla Ankaraou, secretary general of the Nigerien Party for Democracy and Socialism (Pnds/Tarayya), is circulating on local social networks. In this document, there is talk of mobilizing Pink Party activists to “impose a precise transition timetable on the president of the National Socialist Party”. In fact, according to this document, in an interview with RTN on August 2, the president of the Cnsp, General Abdourahamane Tiani, did not mention the transition period as he had initially promised.
Immediately afterwards, Pnds/Tarayya’s lawyer Me Illo came out to formally deny the contents of the above document and announced that he would file a lawsuit to “restore justice to Pnds”!
This new controversy has come in the wake of the letter d’Issoufou Mahamadou sent to the Mo Ibrahim Prize Jury, in which the former President of the Republic declared that he condemned the events of July 26, 2023. However, the letter d’Issoufou Mahamadou is indeed authentic, and therefore, its content is completely hypothetical, which is obviously not the case of Kalla Ankaraou, as questioned by the party’s lawyer.
A document, even if untrue, is equally plausible
At the moment, as the document has been submitted, it does not meet all authenticity criteria. Today, signatures are not absolutely reliable evidence due to the possibility of forgery by forgers. To do this, it cannot be attributed to Kalla Ankaraou, for the simple fact that the party logo was placed on the title and the signature of his SG was placed at the bottom of the letter.
However, if the document in question is not genuine, not authentic, and does not come from the alleged author, then it does present some aspects of what we call plausibility. Plausibility can be defined as any hypothesis in which the facts alleged fail to provide all the necessary guarantees of authenticity, but present a possibility that may suggest authenticity under certain specific conditions.
As for the document of the Secretary General of the Pnds/Tarayya, there is no doubt that one of the factors that could give credibility to this letter, the last winner of which announced that he condemned the events of July 26, 2023 and all forms of takeover by force. As long as Issoufou Mohammed was in Niger, we did not see, or even allegedly, such an attitude of the Popular Democratic Front/Tarayya towards the National Socialist Party and, in particular, its president, General Abdelhamane Tiyani. Even better, the PNDS even invited its activists to support the new powers until the constitutional order was restored. Indeed, at the time, such a position of the Socialist Rose faction was understandable, who could have counted on a relatively continuous transition, hoping to resume business activities by winning elections with the power of “money”. Today, however, this situation is becoming increasingly unlikely, which is perhaps the source of the anger of Issoufou Mohammed and his political family, who appear distraught in the face of the new political situation created by the mystery of General Tiyani. Everything seems to indicate that the current transition will continue, depriving the Tarayyaists of any hope that they will be able to rebound on the national political scene in the near future. This is probably why Issoufou Mohammed chose to light the first fuse to open the way for his Pink Force in a new struggle against the CNSP and its president. Nigeriens are fully aware of the strong manipulation and maneuvering capabilities of the Pink Party, a “conspiratorial” party born in conspiracy, raised in conspiracy, and that can do whatever it takes to achieve its political goals. As a test, a trial balloon, he could be the origin of this document, aimed at reaching the target, that is, its activists. Pnds/Tarayya activists are characterized by their prompt and faithful response to the slogans of their party. They are very disciplined and politically aware and can poison and mislead the Nigerien people through their legendary nuisance capabilities, disrupting, even destroying, sabotaging the current political transition. It is a party that operates like a Masonic lodge around the world, as it has a strong influence at all levels of society. This is why we should not take this document lightly, even if it has been denied by the parties’ lawyers.
Another aspect of the legitimacy of the document written by Pnds/Tarayya SG, then, lies in the swift reaction made by the party. Why, in fact, such an eagerness to react to information on social networks? It is often said that “the apologist blames himself”! Who blames the lawyers of Pnds/Tarayya for making such a statement? In fact, the desired goal is to suggest that it is problematic that Cnsp refuses to keep its promise to organize the transition to the restoration of constitutional order. We will thus move towards the permanent expropriation of power by the National Party. It is for this reason that the voice of popular revolt should be sounded in order to force the National Security Council to consider reviewing the duration of this period as soon as possible. The move of Pnds/Tarayya is clever, isn’t it?
However, if the document is indeed fake, are we not witnessing a Pnds/Tarayya reckoning pure and simple?
Liquidating the pro-Bazoom hands behind the Pnds/Tarayya document?
In criminal investigations we often ask the question of who benefits from the crime, in order to guide the investigation aimed at discovering the perpetrators of the crime. Regarding the origin of the controlled documents, two avenues are favored: a section of civil society and the Bazoum camp. First, he does not hide his desire to see Pnds/Tarayya and its main leaders brought before a judge so that they can be held accountable for all the indecent acts of their previous management. Even better, since July 26, 2023, these social actors have been claiming to be the head of a certain Issoufou Mahamadou. The second fact is that Pnds and Issoufou Mahamadou are behind the events of July 26, 2023.
For this reason, anything that could destroy Issoufou Mohammed and his party would be welcomed by Bazoum supporters.
Today, the pro-Bazoom lead seems the most reasonable, better and most credible as to the true source of the document wrongly attributed to Kara Ankalaou. These pro-Bazoom people understand themselves as Pnds/Tarayya activists who support the cause of Mohammed Bazoum, as well as all those who have business with him but are not necessarily from the Pink Party. Therefore, the combination of these two worlds is the origin of the famous letter, inviting the activists of Pnds/Tarayya to be ready to respond to the party’s future slogans to implement the precise transitional agenda in Cnsp.
For now, among the readers, what will happen with the authorship of this document, while waiting to learn more in the coming days!
