The Arab Parliament affirmed its full support for the decisions and decisive actions of the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni Government in the areas of transport and economy, maintaining financial and monetary stability, and protecting financial and banking institutions from sabotage by the Houthi armed militias.

This took place at the headquarters of the Arab League General Secretariat in Cairo during the fifth session of the fourth session of the third legislative term of the Arab League, with Yemeni parliamentary deputies Abdul-Wahab Moawda, Alawi Al-Barsha bin Zaba and Ensaf Mayo.

The fifth session of the Arab Parliament concluded with a strong condemnation of the threats made by the Houthi terrorist militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by targeting ports, airports and civilian objects, which confirms the subversive practices of the militia and its insistence on suspending all efforts to help Yemen out of the crisis and its insistence on prolonging the war in the region and endangering regional and international peace and security.

The statement expressed regret over the failure of recent negotiations on the issue of prisoners and abductees in the Sultanate of Oman due to the stubbornness of the terrorist Houthi militia to release prisoners and abductees, and called on the international community and the UN Special Envoy to assume their humanitarian responsibilities and complete the negotiations on the humanitarian files of prisoners and abductees.

The plenary session discussed the resolutions and draft laws submitted by the parliamentary committees following the preparatory meetings, followed and monitored various political events and developments in Arab countries this year, worked to resolve Arab crises and problems through inter-Arab cooperation. In addition to the current economic situation in the Arab region, supported joint Arab action and discussed a draft parliamentary vision to combat the travel of terrorists and criminalize their transfer and movement between Arab countries, in addition to a comprehensive draft Arab parliamentary vision to strengthen security and stability in the Arab world.
