Under the terms of the order read out on the national channel Rtnc at 8:00 pm on Friday, October 22, 2021, the President of the Republic, Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, appointed six new ambassadors.
This is:

Christian Ndongala Nkuku, appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Belgium;
Gilbert Mabina, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire;
Mrs. Ruth Isabelle Machik Tshombe, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the French Republic;
François Nkuna Balumuene, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of China.
Mrs. Mary Njeka Oppongbo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United Arab Republic.
Georges Nzongola-Ntalaja, Permanent Representative of the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the United Nations in Geneva.

Furthermore, the President of the Republic, by presidential decree, established the National Committee for the Games of Francophonie in Kinshasa, headed by him and under the supervision of the Prime Minister, Jean-Michel Samar Lukonde Kinge, and appointed Isidore Kwandja as National Director of the 9th Games of Francophonie in Kinshasa.
Please note that François Nkuna Balumuene will serve as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Washington, D.C., effective 2015, and will reside in Washington, D.C.

He served as first counselor at the Embassy in Madrid, Spain from 1984 to 1988, as Chargé d’Affaires ad interim in Pretoria, South Africa from 2000 to 2003, and as Ambassador to Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Sri Lanka, and in New Delhi, India from 2004 to 2015.

Mrs. Rose Isabelle Machik Tshombe is the daughter of former Congolese Prime Minister Moise Tshombe and has long served as the personal representative of the President of the Republic of Congo to French-speaking countries. She was appointed to this position by Joseph Kabila.
