Apple announced on Friday that it will not launch its artificial BroadCast Unitedligence (AI) feature Apple Intelligence in the European Union this year due to regulatory uncertainty caused by the EU’s Digital Markets Directive (DMA).
The news had little impact on Apple’s stock price, which is currently up 0.4%.
Apple unveiled several new AI features two weeks ago, including a collaboration with OpenAI, which CEO Tim Cook called an “important next step.”
