France is digitizing its services

The new procedure is very simple. In fact, it involves applicants turning toANEF (French Digital Agency for Foreigners) in order to submit the application. This new processing method will come into force on July 10, 2024. The government itself admits that the purpose of this procedure is to make it simpler and more intuitive for applicants.

To connect to ANEF, simply visit the official website of the platform and create an account on the portal. Then you have to fill out the form. Then you need to provide all the supporting documents required and verify the procedure. Then you will have to wait a few days or weeks to get feedback from the authorities.

From now on, everything will be done online

The monitoring of the progress of the documentation will again be done directly online, still on the ANEF website. Therefore, there will be no need to travel or even call the relevant office. Therefore, even if it is certain that the first week may be slightly complicated, it will be enough to give everyone practicality, as everyone will have to ensure the transition to this new way of doing things.
