West Kazakhstan region’s Akimat comments on the spread of various media information An employee of Akimat in Uralsk reportedly gave a serviced apartment in the new house to his wife (an employee of the Ministry of Justice) Tengri News Network.
“In this regard, we inform you that during the internal audit, facts were confirmed that Mynzhasarov A., who was the head of the unified state legal department of the Uralsk city government, took advantage of his position and gave the apartment to Karasaeva A., who was married to him,” Akimat reported.
The WKO president noted that the working group, which was established by order of the regional president, discovered the above-mentioned violations on June 28 of this year. The conclusions of the working group were sent to the Uralsk prosecutor’s office for a proper legal assessment of the official’s actions.
“At the same time, a working group has currently been formed on behalf of the regional governor to identify and prevent such facts and to verify the legality of the Uralsk governor’s provision of housing from the state housing stock,” Akimat said in a press release.
The Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan recalled that according to article 15 of the Anti-Corruption Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, persons holding public office, persons with the right to perform state functions, persons equivalent to the right to perform state functions, officials are prohibited from engaging in the following activities: performing official duties if there is a conflict of interest.
