The Mexican Agency for International Cooperation and Development (AMEXCID), a division of the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is now accepting applications for the 2024 AMEXCID Medical Scholarship.
This prestigious scholarship program provides an excellent opportunity for individuals who wish to pursue specialist medical studies in Mexico. In an announcement released by the Ministry of Education and Youth (MOEY), eligible Jamaican candidates are encouraged to take advantage of this valuable opportunity to advance their medical education and contribute to the global healthcare community.
The AMEXCID Scholarship for Medicine is designed for candidates who are currently studying in Mexico or wish to continue their studies.
The scholarship supports two to three years of specialist medical research and is designed to enhance the skills and expertise of future healthcare professionals.
The application deadline is Friday, August 23, 2024 at 11:59 PM (Mexico time) or Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 12:59 AM (Jamaica time).
Applications must be submitted online through the System for Academic Collaboration Management (SIGCA) at: https://sigca.sre.gob.mx/loginThe Embassy does not accept physical applications.
Successful applicants will be notified between 17 and 20 September 2024.
