The Qassam Brigades announced that in addition to shelling the Israeli military buildup in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, they had also carried out several ambushes against Israeli occupation forces in the city of Rafah.
Kassan’s armed forces said they had engaged in fierce fighting with enemy forces in the Tell Sultan area west of Rafah.
The group also confirmed in a separate statement that it had used TPG anti-defense shells and anti-personnel missiles to attack an Israeli unit inside an Indonesian hospital in the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood.
The statement also said that Israeli troops had suffered casualties and that helicopters were seen landing and evacuating Israeli soldiers.

“The Qassam Brigades bombed an enemy assembly area east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip using 107mm rockets, causing a fire at the target location.
“Qassam Brigades attacked a Zionist D9 military bulldozer with a Yassin 105 shell in the Zarata area east of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
“Watch: Two TBG shells targeted a building housing Zionist militants in the Tal Sultan neighborhood in the western part of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.
“Our fighters are now engaged in fierce close-quarter combat with enemy troops and vehicles in Tal Sultan, west of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
“Qassam militants fired anti-defense TBG shells and anti-personnel projectiles at a Zionist armed unit stationed at the Indonesian hospital in the Tal Sultan neighborhood west of Rafah, causing casualties to the unit. The militants saw a helicopter landing to evacuate.
“Qassam militants sniped a Zionist soldier in the Swedish village of Tal Sultan, southwest of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.”

“In support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in solidarity with their brave and glorious resistance, the Islamic Resistance Movement carried out a series of operations on Saturday, August 10, 2024, against the positions and deployments of Israeli enemy forces on the Lebanese-Palestinian border, as follows:
“1. Use attack drones to target spy equipment at the Lamia base, resulting in its destruction.
“2. At 12:50, artillery shells were fired at the Malikiye location, resulting in a direct hit.
“3. At 1248 hours, a rocket was fired at Israeli soldiers gathered in Tel Shaar, achieving a direct hit.
“At 4.17:05, we targeted the spy equipment at Misgaf Amu base and scored a direct hit.
“5. In response to the Israeli enemy’s attacks on steadfast villages and safe houses in the south, particularly the towns of Tayr Harfa and Aita Al-Shaab, a barrage of Katyusha rockets was fired at the settlement of Elon.
6. At 1730 hours, rocket weapons were directed at the Ramsar site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shubajebel and achieved a direct hit.
7. At 1735 hours, rocket weapons were fired at the Zebdin position in the occupied Lebanese Shab’a Farms area, achieving a direct hit.
8. At 18:20, a missile was aimed at the technical system on Mount Kalantina and hit it directly.
“9. To launch an aerial attack with a swarm of drones against Mafa Alon base (a troop assembly and mobilization base and emergency supply station of the Northern Corps located southwest of Safed), targeting its officers and soldiers’ positions, causing direct hits and confirmed casualties, in retaliation for the Israeli enemy’s attacks and assassinations in the city of Saida.
“10. Conduct aerial attacks using a swarm of attack drones against Israeli soldiers gathered around the Birkat Risha location, hitting the target accurately in response to the enemy’s attacks on the steadfast villages and safe homes in the south.”
