Mexico City (apro) – Personnel from the capital’s heroic fire department helped a driver who was trapped in a car accident when his speeding cement mixer overturned onto a parked car and a metal frame in the Álvaro Troitlápa neighborhood of Mayor Obregón’s office.

At 2:30 p.m., firefighters announced on their X-account that they were heading to the Guajiras highway to rescue people trapped in a car accident.

More than an hour later they reported that the affected person had been released and handed over to the paramedics of the Rescue and Medical Emergency Squadron (ERUM), who decided to transfer him to hospital for treatment, as he was diagnosed with some fractures.

Photos shared by firefighters showed the cement mixer completely overturned with rubble surrounding it due to the disaster caused by the impact.

The driver was speeding and ended up crashing into a concrete wall, vehicles and metal poles, according to newspaper reports.

Furthermore, there are reports that personnel from the Civil Security Secretariat (SSC) came to remove the vehicle with the support of a MACK 781-C1 crane.
