Alisha cries in front of audience wearing Palestinian headscarf (Video)

Elissa posted several photos of the ceremony on the social networking site, the most striking of which showed her wearing a Palestinian headscarf and raising the Lebanese flag.

In the video clip shared by viewers, Alissa can be seen taking a Palestinian headscarf from an audience member, lifting it up and putting it on, drawing loud applause from the audience.

In another video, Alissa sang Mrs. Fairuz’s “Naseem Aleina El Hawa” and raised the Lebanese flag.

Alisha sang several of her songs throughout the concert, including “Karmalek,” “Abali Habibi,” and “Petmoun,” appearing emotional and crying while performing.
