Algerian boxer Iman Khalif won the gold medal in the 66kg category at the 2024 Paris Olympics at the Roland Garros stadium on Friday.
Khalif defeated second seed Lu Yang of China 5-0 by unanimous judges decision, becoming the second Algerian athlete to win a medal at these Olympics after gymnast Kirya Namur.
Iman Khalif completed her dream career at the Olympics with a 5-0 win over China’s Yang Lu, who took the silver medal.
