In order to simplify the process for its customers, Algeria Post recently published an instructional video on the steps to follow to correctly complete a postal check. This approach, shared on the official Facebook page of the agency, is part of a series of measures aimed at improving the user experience and minimizing common errors in postal transactions.
Algeria Post instructs customers on how to fill out postal checks
Designed in an educational way, the video provides a step-by-step tutorial for anyone who wants to ensure that they fill out their postal checks correctly. Algeria Post thus wants to respond to the growing need to clarify a process that often causes confusion among users.
The process begins by entering the numerical amount to be withdrawn, for example “20,000 DA” in the first box provided for this purpose. The user must then write the amount in Arabic letters in the box below.

The name of the recipient must then be filled in the “In Order” box. This name can be written in French or Arabic, depending on the user’s preference. If the check is made to yourself, you can write “To Myself.”
Finally, you will need to fill in the date and location of the withdrawal before signing the check. It is essential for the check to be authenticated that the signature on the front and the signature on the back match exactly.
This move by Algeria Post demonstrates its desire to support customers in using postal services by making the process more convenient and transparent. With these clear instructions, the Post Office hopes to reduce the number of errors made when filling out postal checks and encourage the use of its digital services to better manage CCP accounts.
