Algeria Ferries: Nearly 98% of summer ferry crossings guaranteed

Algeria Ferries has had a very difficult summer. Having strengthened its fleet during the summer months, it utilised the services of the Italian ship Moby Dada. Algerian Ferries has terminated its contract with the Italian owner of the Moby Dada, according to Mohamed Tayeb Abboud, chairman of the company’s board of directors, at a press conference in Algiers on Saturday evening.

Summer: A successful summer despite repeated failures

Algerian ferries have operated 173 border crossings since June last year

In this context, the chairman of the company took stock of the activities of this summer. In addition, it was reported that since June last year, a total of 173 border crossings were carried out, ensuring the entry and exit of 146,000 passengers and 43,000 vehicles in and out of the country’s territory.

In addition, Mohamed Tayeb Abboud reported that the completion rate of the transit plan for this summer was 98%. The company intends to learn from its mistakes and make up for the shortcomings of this season to prepare for next year.
