On August 26, National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan met with participants of the third National Assembly Summer School program at the Parliament House.
The President of the National Assembly delivered an opening speech, greeting the students and thanking them for participating in the program and their active participation. The President of the Assembly then gave some details of the activities of the legislative body and talked about the character traits of politicians.
During the question-and-answer session, the NA president answered various questions of interest to the young people.
Alen Simonyan also spoke about the development of democracy in Armenia and the importance of holding open and transparent elections, stressing that educated, literate and demanding young people are a solid foundation for the country’s future.
