Police say two bodies were found inside a car that sank in 12 feet of water at an Alabama recreation area.

A search for three missing people in Alabama has led to the discovery of a sunken vehicle with only the bodies of two people inside, officials said.
According to the Eufaula Police Department, officers are searching for a possible third suspect.
A 4-year-old boy and two women aged 18 and 22 Reported missing June 1, Eufaula Police Chief Danny Christ told McClatchy News in a June 11 email.
Police said in a June 10 news release that on June 9, officers received a call regarding the possible whereabouts of a missing person.
According to police, they arrived at the Old Creek Township recreation area in eastern Alabama, near the Georgia border, around 8:30 p.m. and found a vehicle submerged in about 12 feet of water.
Police said Houston County rescuers received a call and pulled the vehicle out of the water, finding the bodies of a young woman and a boy inside.
Crist told McClatchy News that police were unable to identify the occupants of the vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
Eufaula is located approximately 50 miles southwest of Columbus, Georgia.
