The event will bring together leading public health professionals and researchers to discuss current challenges and strategies for dengue prevention and control in Latin America and the Caribbean, where a record 10.8 million confirmed cases of dengue and 5,828 deaths have been reported to date.

The main goal is to initiate a constructive dialogue that will contribute to the development of an effective strategy for regional collaboration in the prevention and control of dengue in Latin America and the Caribbean. By bringing together experts from different fields, we hope to contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of this issue and to promote interdisciplinary and regional collaboration.

  • Factors contributing to the spread of dengue fever in Latin America and the Caribbean.

  • Good practices that can be adopted from a regional perspective.

  • Regional public health policy strategy for the prevention and control of dengue fever.
