Libreville, Friday, July 5, 2024 (Infos Gabon) – The Secretary-General of the Government, Abdu Razzaq Guy Kambogo, met last Thursday in his office with the Director of the Gabonese Agency for Space Research and Observation (AGEOS).
The two discussed AGEOS’ strategic initiatives in special observations on public policy, including key projects such as urban planning, agriculture, education, health and land management.
The structure plays a fundamental role in collecting, analyzing and making available data from space observations of the national territory, which also contributes to the sustainable management of the environment and natural resources. Its mission also includes promoting research and innovation in Gabon.
The interview with Mr Aboubakar Mambimba Ndoungui reviewed the role that AGEOS data and work play in effectively guiding government actions, particularly in the context of implementing the National Transformation Development Plan (PNDT).
Abdu Razzaq Guy Kambogo particularly welcomed this increased collaboration, not only with the different ministries but also with the Provincial Assemblies to better understand AGEOS operations across the country.
