Natasha Nyonyozi was crowned Miss Uganda 2024/25 at a glittering event held at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala on Saturday, August 3. The 23-year-old Nyonyozi hails from Kionyo in Kamuganguzi, near Katuna in the Kabale District.
Nioniozi’s road to the title was marked by her charm, grace and confidence. She came 2nd out of 28 finalists and was chosen by her peers to chair the 2024/25 Miss Uganda pageant.
Nyonyozi graduated from Coventry University in the United Kingdom with a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance.
She is also an entrepreneur and runs a beauty salon called “Girl Hive” located at The Cube, Kisementi, Shop B20.
In her acceptance speech, Nyonyozi expressed her desire to become Miss Uganda since she was 10 years old.
She stressed that she is committed to using her platform to support teenage mothers, girls who lack access to education, and those who are in need of sexual and reproductive health products and services.
Additionally, she is a passionate advocate for children with autism and is actively involved in charity work for the cause.
The Miss Uganda 2024 finals was a grand affair with celebrities in attendance including Miss Uganda 2023/24 Hannah Karema, Miss World Tanzania Halima Ahmad Kopwe, and Miss World Africa 2024 and Miss Botswana 2022 Lesego Chombo.
