After being in a coma for two months, a delivery man was run over and killed by the son of an Egyptian artist

Two months ago, 21-year-old Alaa Emad El-Din was run over and killed by the son of artist Ahmed Rizk in the Sheikh Zayed area south of Cairo.

The authorities received reports that a traffic accident occurred on May 28 in the Sheikh Zayed area when a young man was hit by a speeding car driven by artist Ahmed Rizk’s son Omar.

Meanwhile, a medical source confirmed that the deceased young man suffered a suspected cerebral haemorrhage and remained unconscious until he breathed his last today.

Investigations revealed that the artist’s son and his friend were also injured in the accident, but after treatment, their conditions improved, for example, and they were released before the prosecution ordered the release of the artist’s son pending investigation and provided a financial bail of £5,000.

The prosecutor ordered the burial of the worker’s body after receiving a medical report on the cause of death and asked the security department to investigate the incident and prepare to summon the artist’s son and investigate him for manslaughter.
