On Monday, the weather will be particularly hot, with maximum temperatures fluctuating between 32 and 36 degrees. Faced with this “suffocating” heat, the IRM has issued a yellow alert for large parts of the region. Temperatures will especially exceed 32 degrees in the provinces of Hainaut, Walloon Brabant and Brussels.
On Tuesday, the atmosphere will become more unstable and the sun will have to give way to a significant development of clouds. Thunderstorms will remain fairly isolated during the day, but thunderstorm activity will increase in the evening and the next night. The weather will be severe and still very hot, with a maximum of 24 degrees at the seaside, 29 or 30 degrees in many areas, and 31 or 32 degrees in Campine and Gaume.
