The measure is also accompanied by a complete overhaul of the SEEG organizational chart and a reduction in the number of directors, which will be reduced from 51 to 14, including 21 departmental staff. From now on, the cost of installing a single-phase meter will be changed from 140,000 FCFA to 70,000 FCFA. As for three-phase meters, their installation cost will be 120,000 FCFA instead of 280,000 FCFA. CTRI warned that installing meters at a rate higher than these amounts will expose the perpetrators to the harsh sanctions of the law.
Gabonese hope that at the end of the interim government, SEEG will be restored and the people will no longer be deprived of water and electricity.
