African defence officials to hold consultations in Botswana

Defense ministers representing 30 African countries will hold a two-day summit in Botswana next week to discuss security and stability challenges facing the continent. The meeting, organized by the United States Africa Command (Africom), is the first of its kind on the continent since 2017.
