She is the first woman to hold this position.
In their speeches, the elected representatives of Oceania Awakening stood by the ideals of their movement. “Since 2019, we have had three voices in this House and we have supported Roque Wamitan in the hope that what he calls the Oceania majority can change, reform and move the country forward.
For us, Oceania is not a race, but a way of life, a way of being, a state of mind.

The new president has an opportunity to highlight the social values that drive her actions. “It is a vision of sharing, peace, social justice in terms of public policy. Fighting inequality and improving the daily lives of Caledonians. Unfortunately, the future of the system always takes precedence over the role of better organizing our society, the latest demonstration of which is everything that has happened since May 13, including the legislature.”
Today we are facing a sad and serious situation where the daily lives of all Caledonians are at risk.

Veylma Falaeo assured that the intention of her party’s elected officials is to continue until the third round “And vote for ourselves. This is about validating and vindicating the existence of middle voices in this chamber.”
But strangely, non-independenceists withdrew their candidates in the second round of voting and supported him. “The majority of this half-cycle decided to elect us as president,” We are kingmakers, opportunists, even weathervanes, our nickname is “Hinges” and we take note of it.
This is an even more historic choice for the new president. “The last element of the Nouméa Accord at the end of this mission is to confirm and consider the existence of a third way and to entrust it to the organization of our first institution.” And thanks to my fellow consultants who made this choice. “We accept this mission with humility. During her speech, Velma Farao tried to talk to all the counselors in the chamber. “Debate is the essence of this field, it nourishes it around the desire we all share, which is to recover, to restart, to make our country prosper.”
Finally, she wanted to address the Caledonians more directly. “We are proud to bring the voices of women, Caledonian women, into a presidency that has until now been dominated by men.”
