Adrián Lara has had to put his busy work schedule on hold. The model and TV presenter, who recently resumed the role of Vachu in the advertising campaign for online English courses, revealed on his social networks that he is taking a break due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

“They didn’t see me in The Bomb because I fell off my motorcycle last week; the accident happened, it was raining, on an elevated road that was almost bare, no asphalt, just peeling iron, my motorcycle crashed and I hit the sidewalk,” he said on Monday night. On August 19, he also shared social media in his Instagram story.

Lala noted that while he was fine for four days after the incident, he began to feel discomfort in the leg that was most seriously injured on Sunday the 18th. As time went on, the discomfort worsened, causing him to take medication for pain and inflammation.

Referral to a specialist

“This morning when I got up to go to ‘La Bomba’ the pain was already worse, so much so that when I reached the canal I went straight to the emergency room and when I saw myself the doctor told me that I had to rest and see a traumatologist,” the owner of the vegan food business Alegría also said.

As Laura revealed in a series of clips, the traumatologist who treated him told him that he had suffered a stroke in his knee. “He told me that I was lucky that there was no fracture, but that the fluid had leaked, the ligament was damaged, it was damaged. 21 days of rest … I couldn’t move my leg … They told me that I had to be wise, because the trauma of the knee can bother us over time, so I had to rest properly to progress,” explained the artist.

As well as sharing her own experience, Laura also took the opportunity to stress to her followers the importance of listening to medical professionals.

Must be discarded complication

“Sometimes we believe nothing is happening to us and that by self-treatment and rest we can improve, and in some cases, maybe yes; but it is better to discard. The doctor told me that if I had gone four days ago, maybe the fluid would not have been drained, my leg would have been immobilized and we would have gained more time,” he noted.

“It’s always important to go and have professionals see us and send us the right medications,” he also went on to point out, highlighting the support and advice that his partner Andreena Castro, one of his partners in “La Bomba”, gave him.

Despite all the processes that await him, Adrian Lara shows no signs of giving up his current means of transportation in the long run. “I love my motorcycle,” the entertainer declared in another of his stories, in which he shared a photo of himself with the motorcycle.
