Singer Taylor’s management company released a statement through her account on “X” saying he would be leaving the boy band after learning of the criminal case involving sex crimes he had been charged in, but the agency did not provide any details about the nature of the crime.
She added that Tael was discussed as unable to continue activities with the band due to the seriousness of the allegations and he decided to leave the band, noting that the South Korean singer is fully cooperating with the police.
Taeil is a member of the South Korean boy band NCT, which rose to international fame in 2016 and currently has 20 members divided into sub-groups such as NCT 127, NCT Dream, and NCT Wish. Taeil was most recently a member of NCT 127.
