On May 26, the Armenian Ministry of Defense reported that Ararat Aramovich Aroyan, a service member of the Ministry of Defense’s N Military Unit, was injured in circumstances that are still unclear and is in critical condition.
Despite the best efforts of the hospital doctors, the soldier’s life could not be saved. An investigation is currently underway to fully ascertain the circumstances of the incident. The Ministry of National Defense expresses its condolences and support to the soldier’s family, relatives and comrades.
