– Operations manager Bjarne Pedersen told NTB that several people had evacuated themselves and there was a risk of spread to three adjacent buildings.
Police said the fire in Asperudveien started as a garage fire before spreading to the house connected to the garage.
– We have arrived with eight fire engines. Tim Angell, the duty commander of the NTB 110 switchboard, said the fire was burning heavily in three townhouses and was in danger of spreading to several buildings.
Reports of the fire came in at 1:50am.
No one was reported missing after the fire. Police and fire departments were evacuating homes near the fire.
